Macwood is made of innovative Copo PremoFiber material and designed using state-of-the-art composite technology that focuses on making sports courts durable, reliable, and green-friendly. It gives the Macwood Standard Indoor Flooring System many features that hardwood flooring can not compete with!
Macwood Standard Indoor has a similar understructure construction as traditional hardwood sports flooring systems. It has 2-layered grid sleepers made of rugged glass fiber-reinforced plastic. To provide proper resilience, rubber pads are engineered to affix to the bottom of grid sleepers with plastic leveling adjusters underneath for leveling out the court surface.
Traditional hardwood sports flooring is prone to scratching, chipping, and cracking. And it is vulnerable to various exterior elements such as termites, flooding, rainwater leakage, excessive moisture fluctuation, etc.
